Shure Songwriting Award Now Live!
The annual Shure Songwriting Award website is now live and kicking. Those of you who’ve been following Shure UK news, will be aware of the slightly delayed launch. First and foremost, we apologise for this delay, which was necessary to put together a new website, with improved user experience. The new website is fully integrated with Facebook, and makes submitting your entry easier than ever.
Shure Songwriting Award for the Fourth Consecutive Year
The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance and Shure have come together for the fourth year to offer a pioneering and innovative ‘Songwriting Award’ for talented, aspiring singer/songwriters. Just upload a video of yourself performing your original song to the competition website, and all applicants will be shortlisted by a combination of public voting and our panel of expert judges.
The winner will receive a unique opportunity to professionally develop their talent and skills, including performing in live showcase events in London, by receiving, free of charge, a place on the Institute’s fantastic one-year Cert HE in Songwriting course. The programme is delivered in London, UK, commencing in October 2012 and worth over £5,000. In addition, two runners-up will receive the opportunity to attend the same course at a discounted cost plus some fabulous prizes from Shure.
