Shure MX97E Wins phono cartridge group test
Many of you will only know Shure due to our wonderful history of producing performance microphones. Less is known about the fact that we were once a big player in the world of DJ & Hi-Fi cartridges. Despite being on the market for some time our Whitelabel cartridge still continues to win awards, and remains the first choice for many electronic artists. It is also the cartridge of choice at nightclubs such as London’s world famous Fabric. The Shure M447 remains the number one cartridge for turntablists and scratch DJ’s including the former Invisible Skratch Piklz, X-ecutioners and the world famous Beat Junkies.
We are proud to announce that this month our M97XE hi fi cartridge won a group test in Hi Fi Choice magazine, seeing off competition from all of the other major brands. Hi Fi Choice had the following to say:
